KIKE!
A story from the past.
I was standing in line at the Tel Aviv Hilton checkout counter in early 1971. That was the hotel that TWA crews stayed at while on layovers in Israel. As with most Israelis I met, the Hilton staff were courteous and friendly. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case with many of the hotel guests, many of whom, from what I could ascertain, were from the U.S. East Coast, mainly the New York City environs.
The person in front of me in line was almost a caricature of the negative view many people had of “New York Jews.” Standing maybe six feet tall and a hundred pounds overweight, his coat was about two sizes smaller than his expansive belly required. On his head was a black Fedora, pushed back from his brow. He was leaning over the counter and screaming at the Israeli clerk on duty.
Everything was wrong with the hotel and staff! The room was too small. The bed was too hard, the rug was dirty, and there weren’t enough towels. The food in the restaurant was lousy, and he demanded a discounted room rate because of all the above.
The clerk explained that he had no authority to do that, and the man would have to make a formal complaint to the hotel management. “Who the hell are YOU?” The man shouted. “You people are UNBELIEVEABLE! WE keep this whole damn country going!” With that, he turned on his heel and stormed out to get on the hotel bus to the airport.
As I walked up to the counter, the clerk stared at the paperwork in front of him and said in a low voice, but loud enough for me to hear: “Kike!” I replied, “I sure hope he’s going on El Al and not us today.” The clerk smiled, handed me my receipt, and said, “Have a safe flight.”
As I look at what’s going on in much of the media and podcasts these days, I reflect on this memory. Perhaps the anti-Semitism is justified by blaming that small portion of American Jews who are unpleasant, as being representative of the entire Jewish race. That, in my opinion, is totally unjustified.
People like Tucker Carlson have mentally gone off the rails in attacking Israel. That is the only truly free country in the Middle East. The only time they have initiated a conflict against their neighboring countries is when they had overwhelming intelligence that indicated they were about to be attacked themselves.
In the current hostilities against Iran, they have been the subject of numerous missile attacks from Iran and its proxies. How do you think this country would respond if Canada, Mexico, Cuba, or another nation in our hemisphere began firing guided and unguided missiles into this country? Maybe a Democrat administration would put up with it, but not for long. American patriots would throw them out of office in a New York Minute, and rightly so.
I support Israel in its fight for survival. So should all common-sense Americans. We must completely defeat the Iranian theocracy and make them an example of what will happen to any Muslim people who chant “DEATH TO AMERICA!” I hope that the Iranian people will finally rise up and throw off the yoke of their Islamic Republic fanatics. Peace in the Middle East depends on it.

I’d say that exasperated Israeli clerk displayed anti-dickheadism, and who could blame him?
I don't think the basis of the anti-Jewish sentiment is anything so simple as a disdain for some obnoxious Jews or as sinister as outright antisemitism. The young with a lack of belief or understanding of history often fall prey to Rothchild-type conspiracies that breed envy. Carlson has no excuse.
